    Job Description

    Job Title: Summer School Nurse (Registered Nurse - RN)

    Location: Near Danbury, Connecticut

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct health care services to students, including first aid, medication administration, and emergency care.
    • Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify and address any health concerns.
    • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other staff members to develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic conditions.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students.
    • Educate students on health-related topics and promote healthy lifestyles.
    • Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
    • Monitor and manage immunization compliance in accordance with state regulations.

    Qualifications:

    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Connecticut.
    • School experience preferred but not required.
    • Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing is a plus.
    • CPR and First Aid certification required.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
