- Join HFA, a leading architectural, engineering, and interior design firm, in the search for a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with a specialization in healthcare projects.
- Lead engineering design initiatives across various projects and play a crucial role in mentoring and developing engineers within the team and organization.
- Work remotely with a focus on healthcare projects such as hospitals, pharmaceutical, and laboratory facilities.
- Manage mechanical system designs for critical environments, emphasizing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, medical gas, and plumbing systems.
- Oversee projects from proposal development to construction completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and design specifications.
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineers and other team members to integrate electrical systems and prepare Construction Documents.
- Lead projects independently, demonstrating expertise in HVAC, Controls, and Plumbing design.
- Ensure compliance with energy codes and conduct energy analysis using Revit and Trane Trace.
- Provide expertise in all aspects of HVAC systems and associated controls as well as sewer, gas, and water systems.
- Train team members on company standards, drafting techniques, and technical aspects related to HVAC and plumbing.
- Collaborate with Architects to develop construction documents in line with client requirements.
- Establish project budgets, ensure financial success, and serve as the Engineer of Record.
- Be licensed in multiple states and capable of writing specifications for various project types.
