- Repair equipment and perform preventive maintenance in accordance with company maintenance procedures and schedules
- Properly tag all equipment worked on with green or red tag indicating equipment status and pending items
- Assist assets department in the development of proper maintenance check items for all machinery to be serviced
- Inform the Shipyard Superintendent of parts or supplies needed to be purchased, put in requisitions for parts, and identify vendors
- Ensure parts are charged to the proper job, equipment, or floating asset
- Travels to field jobs to do regular preventative maintenance and repairs broken equipment when required
- 10 years of experience as a Marine Mechanic required
- Sea going or relative experience as a licensed Marine Engineer; Marine diesel engine experience
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Certification courses in at least 2 diesel / mechanical repair areas
- Government Issued ID, Passport, or Driver's License
- TWIC card or able to obtain one
- Experience with Maintenance Connection software preferred, (DH4 a plus)
- Forklift Operator License
