Role Overview:


Responsibilities:

1.


Order Organization:
Organize and prioritize food orders according to ticket times and table numbers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in delivery.

2.


Food Preparation:

Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as garnishing dishes and portioning sides, to facilitate timely service.

3.


Plate Presentation:
Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen are presented attractively and in accordance with our plating standards.

4.


Table Service:

Deliver food orders to the appropriate tables promptly and accurately, using tray service when necessary to transport multiple dishes.

5.


Customer Interaction:

Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions about menu items and accommodating special requests as needed.

6.


Quality Assurance:
Conduct visual inspections of food items to verify quality and presentation before delivering them to guests.

7.


Communication:
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate food delivery and ensure seamless service.

8.


Cleanliness:

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food running station and dining area, clearing empty dishes and wiping down surfaces as needed.

9.


Teamwork:
Collaborate with colleagues to provide support during peak service periods, assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.


Requirements:

• Previous experience as a food runner or similar role in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fastpaced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to lift and carry trays of food and do dishes as needed.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as part of a dynamic team.
