- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of pathophysiology and disease management and understands the role of infusion/pain management therapy and how it relates to disease processes, including oncology
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of Chemotherapy agents
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge and skill in the caring for all types of infusion lines, including but not limited to ports, pic lines, and cook lines
- Initiates and documents patient teaching including family and/or significant others. Uses appropriate patient education documentation according to plan of care for the infusion/pain management patient
