The Fraunhofer Society currently operates 76 institutes and research facilities in Germany and is the world's leading organization for applied research. Around employees work on an annual research volume of 3.0 billion euros.
At the Fraunhofer Institute for Design Technology Mechatronics IEM, we focus on the question of how complex systems can be efficiently developed in the department "Systems Engineering". Our work is centered around Systems Engineering. In numerous industry and research projects, we support companies in the successful development of these complex systems, and at the same time, we actively develop methods and approaches of Systems Engineering in research projects, shaping the engineering of the future. We are looking for motivated graduates to support developers in system development in Systems Engineering.

What you will do

Your goal is to work on challenging research and industry projects with a high level of responsibility. You will work in interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions in the context of Systems Engineering. You will present your results to companies and public clients, as well as the scientific community. Acquiring new projects in the scientific and industrial environment is also part of your job.
