- Facilitate smooth permit approvals and liaise effectively with local authorities and municipalities.
- Prepare and submit accurate permit applications to relevant agencies and boards.
- Review division-issued plans and construction start packages for accuracy.
- Work with Sales and Design associates to identify and resolve paperwork errors within established company procedures.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing team and Area Construction Managers to resolve any field-related issues.
- Manage check requests and coordinate paperwork with external consultants as necessary.
- Oversee schedules and timelines for all communities, collaborating closely with municipalities and maintaining open communication with stakeholders.
- Participate in weekly construction starts meetings and utilize Prestart Task reporting to drive predictability and identify potential delays.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments and maintain accurate data entry of permitting information within company systems.
- Prepare comprehensive start packages for Construction Managers and arrange inspections for closing.
- Organize and manage company files related to site plan applications, approvals, licenses, and permits.
- Create Vendor Purchase Orders as needed and process department invoices for timely payment.
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience with a Home Builder, Contractor, or Construction Supplier is highly desirable.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with a strong focus on Excel.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable communicating cross-functionally with internal and external business partners.

Job DescriptionPosition Summary:
Landsea Homes is seeking an intelligent and highly organized individual interested in a fast-paced and challenging position as a Production Coordinator. This position is responsible for preparing building permit submittal packages, as well as coordinating the efficient submittal, approval, and retrieval of permits from respective municipalities.

Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary position. May be required to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard. This position requires public contact, as such, appropriate business apparel and professional appearance is expected.
Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel may be required. A valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance is required at all times.
