- Teach five (5) periods for students using effective curricular, instructional, and assessment practices under an unconditional belief in all students with urgency to accelerate their learning through the principles of Grading for Equity.
- Develop curriculum, assessment, and instruction within the department through the Modern Classrooms Project approach incorporating blended instruction, self-paced structures, and standards mastery based grading.
- Grow in curriculum, assessment, and instruction under the Danielson Framework through receiving coaching, data, and reflection.
- Participate in and support meaningful data meetings and deep dives in line with department-wide, grade level-wide, and school-wide goals.
- Keep frequent and current records of student progress.
- Foster a strong and cohesive school culture through community building and restorative practices.
- Be open to feedback under the Danielson Framework.
- Maintain active relationships with local, regional, and national associations and opportunities for professional development in the subject area.
- Develop and share professional development for the department.
- Advocate for the department while supporting the wider mission in the school.

Job Description
Job DescriptionThe Teacher will provide an enriching and innovative learning environment whereby students achieve post-secondary readiness by instructing and assessing students using curriculum aligned with the New York State Standards in the content area. The Teacher will develop and use common assessments to determine instructional strategies that will most effectively meet the needs of students and prepare them for post-secondary futures.
