WakeMed's Children's Hospital has its own emergency department and is a Level IV Neonatal ICU. We currently have a 48 bed NICU, and 10 bed PICU. We perform anesthesia for some of the most unique children's cases.

Private practice is finally back in the Raleigh region, an exceptional victory for true private practice.Our physician-led group is currently seeking strong leaders in pediatrics to provide coverage at WakeMed's three hospitals in Raleigh area.
This is a stellar opportunity to lead the anesthesia team through a positive transition and gain a potential stake in partnership.
Partnership track and immediate partnership opportunities availableTruly a Master of Anesthesia role, this position includes a mix of high acuity pediatrics and some general adult cases.
Case mix includes pediatric surgery, peds ortho, peds spines, peds urology, peds ENT, peds pulm, peds GI. The physician team covers all three WakeMed sites through a rotation schedule and call is rotated.Our mission is to maintain a stable private practice model and empower our team with new skills and growth opportunities.
In turn, this allows our team to provide the most safe and innovative care which drives quality and outcomes for our patients.
