COMMERCIAL AND ADVERTISING ART TEACHER (CIP
For the School Year
Full-time (187 Days); Family Benefits; State Pension (PSERS)
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 4 years' trade experience
in all phases of commercial and advertising art including: - Applied visual arts using artistic techniques to effectively communicate ideas and information to business and consumer audiences via illustrations and other forms of printed media.
- Includes instruction in concept design, layout, pasteup, and techniques such as engraving, etching, silkscreen, lithography, offset, drawing and cartooning, painting, collage and computer graphics
- High School Diploma required.
- Good human relations and written/verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to relate well with young people in a supportive role.
- Eligible to obtain PDErelated Act 34, Act 151 and FBI clearances.
- Must pass a physical and drug test.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- Prior teaching and/or supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish
- Supervisory experience
Pay:
$59, $60,772.00 per year
