- Ensures that any required consent forms are signed prior to examination.
- Actively participates in the quality assurance monitoring and recording efforts of the department.
- Maintains communication with front desk to ensure patient flow.
- Compliance with all state and federal radiation safety requirements.
- Performs radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician.
- Determines proper technique through the selection of voltage, current, and exposure time.
- Positions patients for the proper view of the affected area.
- Instructs patients for the proper physiological requirements for the procedure.
- Receives, organizes, scans, faxes, and encounters documents into EMR.
- Maintains technique charts in rooms in compliance with state law.
- Must be able to closely follow physician instructions, prepare radiography equipment, position patients, and obtain optimal images for diagnosis.
- Assisting back office patient flow and needs including rooming patients.
- Must be able to communicate calmly, compassionately, and professionally with all distinct types of patients including the elderly, ailing, and handicapped.
- Provides preventive maintenance to equipment and monitors its operation.
- Documents patient communication and clinical treatments accurately and appropriately within the EMR.
- Charts patient medications and completes X-ray requests for billing.
- Discusses radiologic examination results with the departmental supervisor or professional personnel.
- One to two years of experience as an X-Ray technician.
- Proficient computer skills and experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

The candidate will be working closely with the physician as the X-Ray technician. Candidate must be proficient in computers and EMR. X- Ray Technician License is Required

In our effort to provide the most effective and efficient digital imaging services, our center was built from the ground up, specifically designed with patients' needs in mind. Not only do we offer state-of-the-art technologies and advanced medical testing options, the entire facility is designed to provide maximum comfort, convenience and efficiency during medical testing. In dealing with any medical situation, accurate and rapid diagnosis is vital, and we have taken every measure to deliver swift, decisive service.
Our state-of-the-art imaging center also has the top technologies and accreditations. In our American College of Radiology (ACR) accredited imaging center we offer a full range of diagnostic imaging procedures testing services.
