Cocinas y Calaveras, LLC is a privately held collection of contemporary Mexican restaurants that are an inventive mix of food, atmosphere and tradition which reflects the heart and soul of Mexican dining.

Mercado locations exist in Santa Monica, Beverly Grove, Hollywood, Pasadena, and Manhattan Beach.

Other concepts include Yxta Cocina Mexicana in Downtown Los Angeles.

The menu features signature creations such as Chef Jose Acevedo's revered carnitas and what has come to be known as the "best flan in the universe." Our bar specializes in craft cocktails with many premium tequilas & unique mezcals.

Server Job Responsibilities:

• Serves all patrons with food and beverages in a warm and friendly manner.
• Prioritize and execute multiple tasks in order to facilitate a seamless and enjoyable dining experience
• Maintain, clean, sanitize, prepare and arrange tables before, during, and after serving guests
• Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Helps patrons select food and beverages by suggesting courses, explaining the chef's specialties, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering detailed food preparation questions.
• Summarize, record, and transmit patron orders to bar and kitchen
• Communicate patrons' special dietary needs and special requests
