We are looking SHOP MAINTENANCE (CLEANER) / SHOP HELPERS who have experience in metal work - minimum 3 years in a similar position

  • CLEANING OF SHOP
  • TAKING OUT TRASH / CLEANING BATHROOMS
  • USING FORKLIFT TO OFFLOAD MATERIALS & ORGANIZE
  • DRIVING WILL BE NEEDED OCCASIONALLY
  • ABOVE ARE MAIN RESPONSIBILITY
  • Must know how to read and use a measuring tape
  • Cutting metal with bandsaw and table saw
  • Drilling holes on drill press & cordless drill
  • Grinding metal & deburring
  • Material handling of heavy metal 50 lbs and up
  • Forklift operator certification not required
  • Sanding metal
  • Bondo & body work to metal fabricated parts
  • Paint preparation with solvents
  • Basic fabrication knowledge / carpentry skills
  • POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND HELPING SENIOR STAFF IS MANDATORY


  • PUNCTUALITY

  • OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED
  • Ability to read and interpret shop dwgs
  • English speaking

  • MIG Welding -TIG Welding -Grinding -Sanding -Drilling & Tapping -Cutting with a Table Saw -Cutting with a Shear -Bending with a CNC Press Brake -Reading Blueprints -Thinking on your feet to Solve Problems -Ability to Maintain Confidential Information -Work Well in a Fast-Paced Environment -Ability to be Resourceful & Proactive when Issues Arise -Professional Attitude & Appearance -Solid Written & Verbal Communication Skills -Detail-Oriented -Strong Organizational Skills -Strong Time Management Skills -Strong Problem Solving Skills -Ability to Multitask -Can-Do Personality -Technical Knowledge -Strong Math Ability -Energetic & Hard Working

Pay:
From $20.00 per hour


Expected hours:
