OTECH Corp is looking for a Shipping AssociateJOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Must be able to function as a member of a team and be able to work under general supervision.
- Comply with all site required policies and procedures
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment.
- Loads and unloads trucks.
- Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.
- Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
- May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate company vehicle to deliver shipments.
Work overtime as needed.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency is preferred.
Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour
