The main responsibilities of the Business Office Receptionist position will be to answer incoming calls to Full Sail University while assisting guests and students visiting the Business Office.

This is an entry-level customer service position that is a non-flexible Monday - Friday.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be a Full Sail University ambassador embracing our unique educational model, while maintaining the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and customer service
  • Provide reception services to staff and students in the Business Office lobby
  • Answer and transition calls for all Full Sail Departments
  • Support data management projects as necessary
  • Various administrative tasks
  • Contribute to the overall success of the department and Full Sail University by performing all other duties as assigned by leadership

  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization
  • Adheres to company attendance standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to provide excellent customer service with a polite, professional demeanor
  • Detailoriented
  • Ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fastpaced environment

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
  • Administrative/Clerical/Reception experience preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
N/A


Computer/Equipment Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills are a must (both written and verbal)
  • Multitasking skills are needs as all Receptionists are required to answer phones, while navigating through computer system, as well as greeting and assisting guests (almost simultaneously)
  • Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with using multiline phone systems is preferred
  • Ability to type between 3540 WPM
