Monona Grove School District has an opening for a 1.0 FTE Human Resources Director. Position is expected to begin on July 1, 2024.

Overview:

The Director of Human Resources plays a pivotal role in ensuring the district delivers on its mission and vision by fostering a safe, equitable, and inclusive environment through all human resources practices and initiatives.

This includes but is not limited to recruitment, hiring, retention, and employee relations functions that prioritize equity and diversity.

Additionally, the Director will collect and analyze data to inform decision-making and measure progress towards achieving the mission and vision.

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, the Director of Human Resources is responsible for the development and administration of personnel programs of the district, including staffing recruitment, hiring, retention, orientation, administration of employee relations functions, employee contracts, and compensation and benefits.

The Director of Human Resources also provides oversight and counsel on labor and employment law compliance.
