Job Summary:
At Disney Entertainment, we are seeking a highly organized individual with a passion for the entertainment industry.
As the Coordinator, Awards (DBT), you will coordinate a myriad of details associated with year-round award program submissions and entries, and campaign tactics for Disney Branded Television (DBT).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, partnering on dozens of national awards campaigns per year spanning national and local academies, special interest groups and guilds, working with creative talent and their representatives during FYC campaigns and awards events, and coordinating with PR & Events team on awards related events including red-carpet premieres, press junkets and screenings.
Responsibilities:
- Collate all assets for entries including but not limited to screening codes for voters, tracking, reviewing, routing & submitting clips necessary for both awards submissions and award shows, assembling press copy, clips, photography and other assets
- Manage calendar for awards team and coordinating meetings between multiple departments
- Liaise with travel coordinators on talent travel (air, ground transportation and accommodations) and handling all talent itineraries
- Ensure the conveyance of invoices to the finance department
- Maintain awards database and all recordkeeping, keeping information up to date and pressready
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in entertainment awards, publicity, talent relations
- Strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple responsibilities related to awards strategy for Disney Branded Television, while working in tandem with the Director, Awards & PR on yearround awards strategy and submissions
- Ability to work effectively under changing priorities, deadlines, and daily time constraints
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google docs
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Note:
This role will be based out of our Santa Monica office but will move to our Burbank location sometime in the 2024 calendar year.
