Join Our Team
WMEP is seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time Administrative and Finance Assistant.

As a key member of our Administrative, HR, and Finance teams, you will provide administrative and finance support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our departments.


About WMEP

The WMEP is a non-profit consulting firm whose mission is to optimize stakeholder value for Wisconsin Manufacturers by expanding their capabilities to grow, be innovative, and achieve operational success, provides targeted consulting services to small and medium manufacturers in Wisconsin.

The WMEP is an affiliate of the National Institute of Standards and Technology's National Manufacturing Extension Partnership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to our Administrative, HR, and Finance departments, including data entry, maintaining financial records, and preparing financial reports
  • Assist with processing financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and expense reports
  • Manage general office duties such as answering phones, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, and responding to inquiries
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations of our departments
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding company operations, financial processes, and confidentiality

Requirements:


  • Associate degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field
  • Previous experience in an administrative or finance role is preferred; knowledge of bookkeeping practices is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of financial software and systems is beneficial
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
