Department/Responsibilities:


The Diakonissen Speyer is a large social and diaconal company that operates facilities in the areas of nursing, elderly care, disability assistance, child and youth services, hospice and palliative care, and education in the Palatinate region and beyond.

In total, approximately 5,000 employees work for the people who are cared for and supported in these facilities.

The service company of Diakonissen Speyer is currently seeking a


Employee (m/f/d) in Food Service


for the Willi-Hussong-Haus senior center in Kandel, starting immediately, in part-time (50-75%) with various shifts from Monday to Sunday, 6am-3pm or 3:30pm-8:15pm.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with food preparation and cooking
  • Serving meals on the wards
  • Setting and preparing tables
  • General cleaning tasks
  • Adhering to HACCP guidelines
  • Documenting services provided

Profile/Qualifications:

  • Independent and responsible work ethic
  • Respectful interaction with residents
  • Teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of hygiene, HACCP, and IfsG
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays
