    Director, Land Entitlement

    Residential Construction

    The Land Entitlement Director is responsible for coordination and management of all aspects of land approvals in multiple proposed communities including but not limited to:

    • Developing relationships with municipalities and nearby generating community support,
    • reading and understanding local municipal Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance,
    • assisting with developing sketch plans with Engineers and land planner,
    • managing due diligence activities and value engineering site plans,
    • working directly with and presenting to municipalities and reviewing agencies to ensure projects receive all required approvals,
    • assisting with the preparation of preliminary, bank and final land development budgets as needed.

    The Ideal Candidate

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • 5-10 years of combined experience in land acquisition and approvals in the residential home-building industry.
    • Has established relationships with local municipalities Planning Board and Council and governmental staff with a track record of securing required approvals.
    • Experience with site engineering, approvals and development.
    • Demonstrated experience reading engineering plans.
    • Experience working with multi-disciplined teams.
    • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and builder software.
    • Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to use own vehicle to drive between communities.
