The Personal Lines Account Representative at Ford and Thomas Insurance Agency is responsible for maintaining solid customer relationships by handling customer inquiries and concerns with efficiency and professionalism.

• Provide services to existing clients related to updating policies, providing quotes, taking payments, answering questions, providing documentation. Answer customer calls and correspondence regarding new or existing insurance policies
• Manage claim calls with customer and carrier. Order/process changes, cancellation and renewal policies
• Policy Invoicing
• Cross sale, up sale existing book of business
• Manage expiration lists, activities and suspense's
• Work in a paperless environment

• Hold Property and Casualty insurance license for the state of Virginia
• Agency Management System experience
• AMS 360
• Minimum 3 years Personal Lines agency experience
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of personal insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain, and write assigned clients and prospects. Demonstrate strong customer focus and excellent phone manner; display strong written and verbal communication
• Possess a sense of urgency, mindfulness, organization, multitasking, and followup skills, and the ability to handle difficult situations with customers and solve complex problems
