Mini-Lernkreis Nachhilfe in Ridgefield, NJ is seeking on-site tutors (m/f/d) for all school subjects, types of schools, and grade levels.

This is a suitable part-time job for academics, trainees, teachers, educators, doctoral students, and applicants with special qualifications (e.g. social workers, educators, accountants, interpreters, translators, foreign language assistants, journalists). It is also suitable for retirees and pensioners as a retirement job.

As a student job for students of education, pedagogy, and related fields.


You will provide afternoon or early evening tutoring to children and teenagers in small subject-specific study groups of 2 to 4 students in our classrooms or through individual lessons at the student's home.


What you should bring:

  • Solid subjectspecific qualifications in at least one school subject
  • Very good knowledge of German (spoken and written)
  • Pedagogical competence, didactic skills
  • Ability to motivate and empathize
  • Enjoyment of working with children and teenagers
