Opportunity
We are looking for a Kitchen Director to join our team at
Chick-fil-A Deerfield. The Kitchen Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.

They are a results-driven, forward-thinking partner, ensuring the overall effort of the shift leaders and team members achieve the business's goals.

He/she reports directly to the Owner/Operator and takes ownership of the kitchen and its functions as part of the upper level management team.

This position is very hands on and in a fast pace environment where attention to detail is critical. We are looking for someone who has a passion for food safety and quality with hands on leadership experience.


Your Impact

  • Ensure all food safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Metric tracking and ownership
  • Ensure Team Members meet all ChickfilA Standards and Team Member Handbook requirements at all times
  • Delivering operational excellence, working through all areas of Back of House to ensure production of remarkable food quality
  • Building highperformance teams, identifying and coaching leaders for Back of House
  • Manage a team of 20+, coaching and holding people accountable to high standards
  • Increasing profitability through implementing procedures to reduce costs, increase productivity, and managing lean inventory systems through inventory counts and truck ordering
  • Maintaining a work environment that ensures and promotes food & team safety
  • Oversee inventory management and monthend processes
  • Increase overall restaurant results, working crossfunctionally with other department leaders through attending leadership meetings and setting highlevel collaborative goals
Key Responsibilities can include

  • Training current staff
  • Food Cost and waste tracking
  • Ordering Truck
  • End of month inventory count
  • Food safety audits and accountability for scores
  • Food quality and quality based metrics
  • Management and completion of Checklist systems

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Restaurant Kitchen Management experience
  • Must have a basic understanding of all kitchen operations
  • Bilingual (preferred)
  • Hospitality experience (preferred)
  • Passion for ChickfilA's values
  • ServSafe Managers certificate (We are willing to train and pay for this certification)
  • Must have a flexible schedule to work when needed. Saturdays are a nonnegotiable
