    Job Summary:
    Are you an organized individual that believes in providing excellent customer service? The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a Customer Service Representative III to deliver exceptional services to customers. This position involves performing complex administrative work in the customer service area at Arizona Correctional Industries. Start your next career step here!


    Job Duties:
    • Processes over 800 orders monthly
    • Handles telephonic orders, payments, receipts, and refunds
    • Greets walk-in clients
    • Provides price quotes and estimated completion dates
    • Acts as a liaison between clients and industrial shops
    • Generates, tracks, and reconciles purchase orders
    • Completes data entry using specialized merchandise tracking software (EPICOR)
    • Generates reports
    • Follows up with clients on products, services, orders, payments, and special requests
    • Resolves customer complaints
    • Assists Sales Department with special orders and shipments
    • Processes orders for furniture upholstery, wood and metal furniture refurbishing, and custom product refinishing for the general public
    • Provides upholstery, stain, and paint options
    • Coordinates transportation, delivery dates, and pickups
    • Maintains electronic and hard copy files
    • Ensures confidentiality of sensitive information
    • Trains and supervises inmate workers
    • Reviews work product and resolves order discrepancies
    • Attends meetings and training sessions
    • Drives on State business
    • Performs other relevant duties


    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
    • Knowledge of: laws, regulations, customer service operations, problem-solving, office management, basic bookkeeping, mathematics, computers, software, and filing systems
    • Skill in: communication, interpersonal relationships, customer service, problem-solving, laws interpretation, telephone etiquette, research, decision-making, time management, and prioritization
    • Ability to: work with inmates, maintain confidentiality, respond to customer complaints tactfully, act as a liaison, manage documentation, conduct research, work independently, make sound decisions, resolve customer service issues, learn merchandise specifications, manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, and coordinate large orders


    Selective Preference(s):
    - Two (2) years of customer service experience
    - Knowledge of ACI products, services, accounting system, and state procurement and sales regulations


    Pre-Employment Requirements:
    Employment is subject to successfully passing a background check and drug test. Driving may be required.

    Retirement:
    Employees participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) after 27 weeks of employment. Current ADCRR Employees should consult their Human Resources Liaison for retirement plan details.
