Located in Scottsdale, Arizona, we are looking for a seasoned very successful western pleasure trainer willing to manage many different aspects of a small specialized breeding and training facility.
Our facility includes a large covered arena, 8 horse walker, grass turnouts.Our greatest goal is to produce solid, sound, healthy, good minded, beautiful horses to promote our exceptional mares, talented trainers and brand.
Responsibilities include*Managing and developing young horses, conditioning aged horses, rehabing injured horses
*Successfully competing in breed events, trail and obstacle changes,
*Sales
*Working together with staff to insure all care, feeding and conditioning is provided
*Assisting with marketing campaigns, social media, breeding program
*Must be willing to live in Flagstaff, Arizona May-September : housing provided
*Benefits include: annual salary to be negotiated ,
annual bonus
possible living arragements provided
Pay:
$75, $80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Overnight shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- horse training: 10 years (required)
