    Apex Systems is seeking a

    P.E. -

    Electrical Engineer with a strongbackground in facility design and construction engineering

    Requirements:
    Must have a Professional Engineer (P.E.) OR must have passed the F.E. (fundamentals of engineering) exam.
    Must have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
    8+ years professional facilities design and construction engineering and management.
    Experience with design-bid-build and design-build project delivery mechanisms.
    Experience translating customer requirements to design options with accurate cost justification.

    Electrical engineers must demonstrate experience in building power distribution (ranging from low voltage to high voltage), control systems, and safety fundamentals.

    Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

    Ability to review and revise existing standards of engineering techniques, procedures, and practices in building design and building information modeling.

    Ability to coordinate work efforts across other engineering, architecture, and construction disciplines to arrive at best technical and value-based solutions.
