Electrical Engineer

position, and we are looking for someone to join our growing team. Trillium Engineering is in Hood River, Oregon, in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. We were founded in 2013 by three engineers experienced in UAS payload design and deployment.

With a shared passion for innovation and an intuitive eye for design, they created a company that would deliver high-quality vision systems for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions.

Serving as the mission-enabling "eyes" of manned and unmanned aircraft and ground systems, Trillium provides best-in-class stability and imagery.

Purpose of Position:

Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Operate computer systems.
Create electrical schematics.
Confer with technical staff to prepare designs or plans.
Discuss designs or plans with key individual(s).
Design electrical equipment or systems.
Troubleshoot system, equipment or product failures.
Estimate technical or resource requirements for development or production.
Collaborate and provide guidance to production activities.
Devise research or testing protocols.
Train staff on proper operational procedures.
Test products for functionality or quality.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or other related Engineering discipline.
Knowledge of engineering theories, concepts and practices to resolve difficult or unusual issues.
Knowledge in processes, procedures, technology or software.
3-5 years in a developmental engineering environment, preferred.

Physical Demands of Position:
Physically able to lift up to 20 pounds (materials/equipment)
Effective use of computer, laptop, cell phone and other mobile device to exchange information.
