Position Summary:
The Order Management/Customer Service Representative acts as a liaison, provide product/services information, process orders and resolve any emerging problems with customer accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Manages orders from entry to delivery, for assigned accounts to ensure the customer's expectations are met.
- Acts as primary contact in understanding and responding to customer needs and issues.
- Proactively anticipates problems, and effectively resolves them before they become major issues.
- Supports inventory management by monitoring and reporting inventory status and initiating recommendations and actions to adjust or replenish inventory levels.
- Develops relationships with other departments to assure accurate order pricing and product on all customer orders
- Prepares clear, concise reports, documentation, and routine customer correspondence.
- Promptly address any customer complaint for damages, shortages and incorrect quantity or item and see them through to resolution
- Support the Customer Service Manager with other tasks as required
- Strong mathematical skills
- High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Prior industry customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and manage multiple priorities
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency using technology, including MS Office software:
- Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively communicate and followup with questions, comments or concerns in the manufacturing environment
Pay:
$19.50 per hour
