- Screens and provides intake for victims of domestic violence and sex trafficking from community, partner, and self-referrals. Plans, conducts, and completes intake/assessments, safety planning, home visits, and case management services in accordance with agency and program procedures. Provides enhanced crisis counseling follow-up services at specific time intervals. On a regularly scheduled basis, is included in the Oahu Sex Trafficking Crisis Response Team rotation schedule. When needed, provides supportive services during law enforcement responses to combat human trafficking in the community.
- Plans and facilitates a variety sex trafficking interventions including group and individual counseling and referrals.
- Plans and provides individual counseling, case management, crisis intervention and/or advocacy, as designated. Attends to the safety of identified child victims of sex trafficking.
- Coordinates service activities as needed between PACT programs and partner agencies on behalf of the survivor.
- Assures timely maintenance of accurate record keeping, data input, data collection and management of client information, payment processing and court reporting on clients.
- Works collaboratively with other staff, community members, clients, and client collaterals to address issues related to client services and program activities. Responds to requests for information from partners, clients, collaterals, and community members.
- Supports the program's quality activities as well as the agency's Performance and Quality Improvement Program.
- Bachelor's Degree in social services field required.
- At least one-year relevant experience in the field sex trafficking or related field.
- At least two years relevant experience providing direct client service within a trauma-informed care arena.
- At least two years relevant experience working with persons in crisis.
- Possesses and maintains a valid driver's license.
- Has daily access to an automobile.
- Possesses and maintains proof of no-fault insurance.
- A Master's Degree in a social services field is preferred.

Summary of Program and Position:
Family Peace Centers promote peace and safety for Hawaii's families and communities by providing support and education for those who use violence, survivors, and their children. Violent and abusive behavior is learned and can be unlearned. Accepting responsibility and being accountable for one's behavior are critical in the path to peace. The consistent use of non-violent skills assures safety for survivors and children, promotes offender accountability, and solidifies an end to the cycle of violence in families and communities. Family Peace Centers emphasize partnership, equality and respect among and between all family members.
The Human Trafficking Crisis Counselor / Case Manager is responsible for providing advocacy, counseling, crisis counseling, case management and support services to sex trafficking victims and survivors. This position is also responsible for responding to crisis call out situations after normal business hours, and on weekends and holidays, as required. Services are provided in the office, at the home, and at other natural environments preferred by the survivor.
