Description

School counselors work to maximize student success, promoting access and equity for all students. As vital members of the school leadership team, school counselors create a school culture of success for all. School counselors design and deliver school counseling programs that improve student outcomes.

**Applicants must have a Florida certificate in School Counseling or be able to get their certification. Applicants who are finishing a school counseling program or mental health counseling program will also be considered. Must speak English and Spanish.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Identifying issues affecting school performance, such as absenteeism.

Addressing social or behavioral problems

Helping students develop skills needed for academic success

Counseling individuals and small groups

Academic scheduling and progress monitoring

Other responsibilities as assigned

From $49,750.00 per year
