We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support our clients bi-weekly payroll operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of timekeeping records, maintaining time and attendance records, and managing various payroll-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Auditing: Review and audit payroll, timekeeping, and supplemental pay records for bi-weekly payroll compliance.
Data Management: Update and post changes in pay, tax status, and other employee information.
External Audits: Assist in gathering and organizing data for external audit requests.
Employment Verification: Handle employment verifications and state employment verification requests.
Garnishments and Tax Levies: Process garnishments, tax levies, and other wage attachments, ensuring timely response to deadlines.
Financial Reconciliations: Process tax notices and perform financial reconciliations.
Report Generation: Assist in running payroll reports to ensure data accuracy.
Commission Workbooks: Aid in the production and distribution of sales commission workbooks.
Check Management: Mail out live checks and manage unclaimed checks.
Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience in a manufacturing or O&G environment (Ceridian or ADP).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
Knowledge: Understanding of multi-state payroll, wage withholding, and garnishments.
