Buckeye Partners is currently seeking an IT Application Analyst II
, to join our growing team


Role Summary:


The IT Application Analyst II in Field Operations performs, or monitors activities and projects related to the operation, integration, implementation, upgrade, and/or enhancements to Buckeye's IT Field Operations Applications.


Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:

On-Call Support. Provide on-call support during non-business hours to Operations on an as-needed basis.
-
Customer Service. Provide exceptional customer service.
-
Process Improvements. Contribute and/or Lead based on knowledge and experience, continuously identify potential opportunities to increase efficiencies and/or improvements to existing processes. Identify gaps in the current business model and propose processes that will help move the business forward.

  • And other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies or related discipline OR equivalent experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of pipeline and truck terminal terminology and operations is a significant plus.
  • Microsoft Excel VBA programming experience preferred.
  • Microsoft SQL experience is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of pipeline and truck terminal terminology and operations is required to be obtain in short order.
  • Linux OS experience is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally.
