Our client is a leading construction firm specializing in commercial projects with a strong portfolio in K12 educational facilities. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team and oversee our K12 construction projects.

Job Summary: As a Commercial Construction Project Manager with K12 construction experience, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of educational facility projects. You will manage all aspects of the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Project Execution:

Oversee daily operations of construction projects.
Manage project teams, including subcontractors and site staff.
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to stay on schedule.

Quality and Safety Management:

Implement and enforce quality control and safety protocols.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Address any issues or discrepancies promptly to maintain project integrity.

Budget and Cost Control:

Monitor project budgets and financial performance.
Approve expenditures and ensure cost-effective solutions.
Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for stakeholders.

Communication and Reporting:

Maintain open and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and clients.
Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a focus on K12 educational facilities.
Proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
PMP certification or similar is a plus.
