Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the Owner's representative to provide technical guidance and issue resolution.
  • Manage performance of the Integrators Architectural and Engineering/Owners design Consultant vendor in their disciplines.
  • Develops discipline scope and engineering solutions which include schedule, budget, and safety requirements for assigned construction projects.
  • Leads interdisciplinary coordination efforts and collaborates closely with other disciplines to ensure delivery of a complete, approved, coordinated scope across a project.
  • Interface and coordinate with contract design, construction, scheduling, and estimating resources.
  • Interface with facilities staff and project managers to enable facility design efforts for their area of expertise.
  • Define design criteria, lead scope definition and justification, develop design concepts, and oversee completion of positioning, programming, and detailed design.
  • Ensures accuracy of estimating tied to scope of work and linkage to project schedules.
  • Have strong knowledge of specifications and standards U
  • Use change process to improve those standards and drive innovative solutions.
  • Establishes and submits process requirements to be met when designing and acquiring LSS equipment.
  • Managing system capacity, reliability and uptime as well as all documentation required to safely operate LSS system.
  • This position includes design and construction support for Fire/Evacuation, Early Warning Smoke Detection, Liquid Leak Detection, Tool Annunciation System (TAS), and Hazardous Production Material (HPM) alarm systems and detection equipment.
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting for the HPM and TAS system and associated I/O point management, implementing, tracking and managing continuous improvement projects.
  • Development of project budgets, schedules, and safety requirements and performing conceptual I/C engineering analysis for multiple scenarios that can include high level schedule and/or budget development to help customers and stakeholders make critical business decisions based on time and cost constraints. Proficiency with reading and interpreting construction contract documents is a must.
  • Build and drive safety Culture of Care in every business environment, office to the construction sites, and from frontend planning to construction execution.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related field with 4+ years of experience in the following:
  • Knowledge, understanding, and interpretation of engineering documentation (P and IDs, Sequence of Operations, Engineering Specifications and Design Standards).
  • PLCbased control system architecture, especially Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley and Siemens PCS
  • Applied knowledge of Instrument and Control (I/C) and Life Safety Systems or Building Monitoring System (BMS) design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • 57 years PM experience
  • Construction background essential
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
