LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE

The district of Uelzen is looking to fill a full-time, permanent position in the Environmental Office, Department of Nature Conservation/Forest Protection, with a regular average working time of 39 hours/week.

Your main tasks:

Implementation of landscaping measures
- Preservation and maintenance of natural monuments
- Clearing and reseeding, including follow-up care of areas, removal of invasive plant species
- Pruning of trees and shrubs
- Planting and clearing measures
- Construction and maintenance of structural facilities (e.g. bridges, viewing platforms, etc.)
- Construction and maintenance of amphibian protection measures (amphibian fences)
Green space maintenance
Maintenance of outdoor facilities
- Maintenance and repair of technical equipment (including drainage systems)
- Installation and maintenance of signs
- Maintenance of hiking trails and grave sites
