Description
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthend close activities including updating and maintaining the General Ledger
- Coordinate and maintain monthly accruals and standard journal entries
- Engage in the review and enhancement of account reconciliations and analysis of account variances on a monthend basis utilizing Blackline Software
- Responsible for SOX key control operating effectiveness, company policy compliance and documenting policies and procedures
- Proactively lead projects related to continuous process improvement and uses systems to increase controls and efficiencies
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives to ensure long term operational excellence
- Develop Key Performance Indicators and metrics to drive performance
- Strong written communication skills, along with clear and concise verbal skills, are required.
- Proven history of participating on successful cross functional teams as well as the ability to build organizational relationships with peers and operating partners
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Fina
- Advanced Qualification Preferred (CPA, MBA)
Experience:
- 5 + Years General-Ledger Experience
- Strong Analytical capabilities
- Requires critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Hyperion, SAP and Blackline Systems experience is a plus
- Public accounting and experience in a large, global organization is a plus
