Our training and development programs provide employees with career advancement in a diverse work environment. The individual selected for this position will build Micro-Electronic sub-assemblies. Working in the Manual cell, using various liquid and sheet epoxies to lay the foundation of every micro-electronics module. On the TACAIR Microwave Factory on a variety of products including 56C and EPAWSS


As a Microwave Technician on First Shift you will make impacts in the following ways;

  • Fabricate and/or modifies complex microintegrated circuit modules or microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and subassemblies by following specific instructions, such as for wire and ribbon bonding utilizing various manual and automatic bonding machines or using an MRSI microwave component automated pick and place machine.
  • Fabricate and/or modify complex microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and subassemblies.
  • Because of the need for consistent, inperson collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time._

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Typically a High School Diploma and 1 year work experience or equivalent experience

  • Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with lamination presses, bladder bag ovens and sheet epoxies (mainly with the focus of attaching substrates to modules/housings). Familiar with working with a wide variety of adhesives and epoxy's.
  • Able to work with a microscope for an entire shift.
  • Familiar with MIL-STD883

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range:
$ $63690
