Research Professor (m/f/d) "Automation Technology" at Valliant

Responsibilities
As a research professor at Valliant, you will be responsible for
establishing and leading a research team. This includes setting up a laboratory, acquiring and conducting research projects, and recruiting scientific staff.

In the context of the Technology Campus Cham, service research and applied research projects, as well as technology and knowledge transfer, are of great importance.

Through targeted
public relations, you will increase the visibility of your activities and establish yourself as a project partner.

Ideally, you have already gained practical experience as a
team leader with expertise in automation technology and are able to lead teams with an international composition.

In the initial phase, you will be supported by an experienced team when it comes to writing research proposals and public relations.

In terms of
teaching, as the future holder of this position, you will be responsible for teaching German and English lectures in the field of automation technology and related topics at the NuW faculty at the Cham campus, which is predominantly international.

Your lecture focus could include automation in manufacturing and logistics, or cyber physical systems including cyber security and automation.

In addition to research and teaching, your participation in academic self-governance committees is desirable.
