- Lead and manage a diverse range of litigation cases from inception through trial.
- Conduct thorough case analysis and develop effective litigation strategies.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, briefs, and contracts.
- Represent the company in court, present evidence, and argue cases confidently and persuasively.
- Negotiate settlements in a manner that is in the best interest of the company.
- Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure a cohesive approach to case management.
- Provide legal advice and guidance on a range of issues, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Stay abreast of current legislation, court rulings, and industry trends that may impact the company's operations.
- Maintain high levels of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing.
- Minimum of 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in construction law litigation.
- Proven experience as a trial attorney, with a track record of success in complex, multi-party cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle large amounts of data and legal concepts.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to represent the company effectively in a variety of settings.
- High level of integrity and professional responsibility.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in legal research and writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
