    Situated on oceanfront Collins Avenue in the heart of Millionaire's Row, Fontainebleau Miami Beach is one of the most historically and architecturally significant hotels on Miami Beach.

    Opened in 1954 and designed by Morris Lapidus, it was the most luxurious hotel on Miami Beach, and is thought to be the most significant building of Lapidus' career.


    Responsibilities:


    The Safety & Security Traffic Control Supervisor will monitor traffic behavior and or flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times.


    Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following: Respond to emergencies, disturbances, undesired conduct, and threats to life and property.

    Ensure all lanes are maintained at the entrance and exit and ensure free flow of traffic on driveway

    Allow pick up and drop off only.

    Monitor the employee entrance/exit to ensure appropriate property business.

    Interact with cab drivers, ensuring they are staged on city street not on hotel property. Parking is not permitted along curbside adjacent to valet courtesy desk.

    Consult internally with Company personnel and departments to assure adequate security.

    Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:
    Well organized and demonstrated strong problem solving skills.

    Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.

    Prior valet experience and or vehicular traffic control experience in the hospitality industry.

    Large volume vehicular traffic control supervision.

    High school education or equivalent. College degree preferred.


    Minimum of five (5) years hotel security experience or minimum of two years (2) Security Supervisor/Manager experience or other management experience.

    Military or law enforcement background preferred.
