Hourly rate:
$22-26 per hour depending on experience


General Description:


Essential Job Responsibilities:


  • Production Schedules: Set daily production schedules in order to maintain sufficient inventory and fulfill orders.
  • Data entry: Utilize logistics spreadsheets and inventory database to ensure all material and product are recorded. Provide product supply, pricing and order status updates to customers as needed.
  • Effectively manage the coordination and scheduling of drivers and equipment for maximum utilization, while meeting customer needs.
  • Manage driver scheduling and load dispatching with focus on efficiency, cost effectiveness, customer service and compliance.
  • Effectively utilize dispatch tools to help coordinate all drivers and equipment.
  • Assist walkin customers as needed.
  • Serve as sales support.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in transportation, logistics/ related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years experience working in a dispatch department or equivalent logistics/ transportation coordinator position
  • Proficient in Microsoft office programing, specifically Excel
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple timelines at once
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to think on feet and make changes to plans often
  • Must be able to work effectively under both direct and indirect supervision
  • Must be extremely organized and pay close attention to detail
  • Preferred:_
  • Experience working in an agronomy company
