Operations Coordinator


The Operations Coordinator performs a variety of managerial and supervisory duties for the Department of Occupational Therapy in support of the Program Director, faculty, and staff.

Individuals should possess a unique blend of interpersonal, organizational, managerial, and technical service skills.

These attributes are necessary to meet the objectives of an academic department that consists of a diverse team of administrators, faculty, staff, students and public constituents.

Individuals seeking this position must be able to take initiative and to work independently to create an effective operational environment.


Qualifications:


  • Professional experience as an administrative assistant in higher education preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of office management, and supervision of office personnel.
  • Progressive experience in office technology including word processing, spreadsheet and database management, and video or web conferencing systems
  • Excellent presentation, technology skills, and experience (Audio/Visual)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills within a diverse environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with people of all levels of expertise
  • Ability to resolve problems effectively, efficiently, and independently
