- Uphold the standard of practice for the patient population.
- Manage private office and oversee all clinical decisions while on duty.
- Provide guidance in setting operational policies for the practice including financial matters, managed care, budgeting, personnel management, and compliance.
- Offer after-hours call coverage for practice patients and handle office appointments.
- Engage in community service initiatives, such as presentations and clinical programs.
- Maintain responsibility for risk management, coding compliance, and quality assurance within the practice.
- Remain vigilant and perform duties in a safe manner.
- Fulfill other assigned responsibilities as needed.
- Regular use of speech for oral communication.
- Standing, walking, lifting, and pushing/pulling objects frequently.
- Sitting, reaching, and keyboard use/data entry are common tasks.
- Dependence on vision for various tasks including color recognition and depth perception.
- Using smell to detect odors is a frequent requirement.
- Hearing and distinguishing body sounds are essential for oral communication.
- Occasional lifting/moving of heavier objects and patients.
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, and other physical movements are sometimes necessary.
