Position Summary:


Responsible for new Business Acquisition with a focus on bringing new business customers to the Bank through a variety of activities: direct calling, participation in various local organizations, attending networking events, generating referrals from existing customers and local centers of influence, and cross selling exiting customers.

Prospective clients will be self-sourced.

The BDO creates sales opportunities and collaborates/partners with Lending, Retail, and Cash Management team members to cross-sell appropriate business products and services that meet the client's needs.


Position Goals
Referral goals will include deposit growth comprising a mix of non-interest bearing and interest-bearing deposits. Referral goal for new loan production will include a focus on new C&I relationships for the bank.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals and objectives.
  • Increase First Bank position and visibility Customer Orientation, Integrity and Outcome Orientation.
  • Partnering with Market Leadership to help with marketing efforts within the bank footprint.
  • Sales process including prospect prioritization, initial contact, pursuit strategy, identification of fit, and overall management of the onboarding process.
  • Partnering with Retail and Relationship Managers and other partners to ensure a smooth customer transition for ongoing management.
  • Identify crosssell opportunities to deliver the full compliment of Bank products and services.
  • The vast majority of time (70%+) will be spent outside the office fully engaged in the Key sales activities.
  • Maintain confidentially in handling all client and bank information.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as needed and when called upon

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Business Calling Skills.
  • Works well independently and as part of a group.
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent ability to analyze information and present solutions.

Pay:
From $106,000.00 per year
