Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team.

The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of the restaurant and ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service.

This position requires a proactive individual with excellent leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

Operational Support: Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staffing, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Customer Service Excellence: Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a positive dining experience for all guests. Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.

Staff Supervision and Training: Supervise and mentor restaurant staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Conduct training sessions to maintain high standards of service and product knowledge.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the management team to develop and implement strategies to enhance sales, improve efficiency, and achieve business objectives. Foster a collaborative and cohesive work environment.

Quality Control: Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and portion control to uphold Kook Burger & Bar's standards of excellence. Take proactive measures to resolve any issues or discrepancies.

Financial Management: Assist in managing budgetary goals, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability. Monitor sales performance and implement effective strategies to drive revenue growth.

Promotions and Marketing: Support marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative campaigns and events.

Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations at all times. Uphold high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the workplace.


Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or bar setting.
  • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problemsolving skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and staffing.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent is preferred.

Pay:
From $40,000.00 per year
