Citizens Capital Markets Group is currently searching for a Fintech - Payments focused Corporate Finance Director with a desire to work in an entrepreneurial, growing organization within the Financial Institutions Group. This person would come in with established Corporate and Financial Sponsor relationships within the Fintech Payments sector to help facilitate strategic, investment banking dialogue with existing and new bank customers. You would serve as the primary architect of client discussions and presentations and, alongside Fintech Payments focused Capital Markets and Corporate Banking colleagues, would help direct the origination and execution of Debt, Equity, and M&A transactions. Additionally, you may be involved in structuring all types of transactions / financings for these clients or may work in conjunction with specialized staff. Primary responsibilities include
+ Architect strategic ideas, research industry notes and trends to present to clients as well as internal risk management.
+ Establish and cultivate long-term relationships at the C-suite level with Fintech companies and Financial Sponsors
+ Collaborate on cross-sell efforts with Citizens Corporate Bankers into the Fintech client base
+ Help prepare and present offering materials to potential investors, lenders, and rating agencies; negotiate critical structural elements on behalf of the client with investors and lenders
+ Attend industry related conventions and conferences, to establish new and build on existing relationships while identifying industry trends
+ Liaise with risk management to ensure that appropriate credit and market risks are identified and addressed
+ Maintain effective license to operate by sustaining a high level of trust and confidence with senior line and risk management
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
+ Minimum 8+ years' experience in Investment banking and/or Capital Markets with a top ranked investment bank, M&A boutique, or commercial bank
+ Demonstrated, long-term client relationships in the Capital Markets FinTech Payments sector
+ Proven experience working with Debt and Equity Capital Markets, and leading M&A mandates
+ 4 year degree from an accredited university
+ Master's degree preferred, but not required
+ Series 79 & 63 licenses
+ Effective verbal and written communication and influencing skills
+ Highly organized with ability to multi-task
+ Strong credit acumen with superior market risk knowledge
Hours & Work Schedule
+ Hours per Week: 40
+ Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
