    Supernal is at the forefront of creating emerging mobility solutions that will foster the development of human-centered cities.

    What we do:


    In a team-oriented environment, the Inspection Specialist will plan and perform all tasks in initial or final phase of manufacturing in a timely and efficient manner to ensure aircraft parts, sub-assemblies, major assemblies, and installations conform to the design.

    This position will be required to work on-site 5 days a week.

    What you can do:
    Coordinate inspection workload according to priorities, efficiency, and cost effectiveness
    Train new Inspectors
    Functional/Delegate POC for Inspections tasks in the system (ERP/MES)
    Perform Inspection duties utilizing engineering drawings and orders, work instructions, technical specifications, QA procedures and instructions, and other related documents

    Perform preliminary and progressive inspections of aircraft structure and systems, verify functional operation, final inspections, inspect for FOD and verify paperwork.

    Witness, verify and document manufacturing process steps
    Conduct quality reviews and establish traceability of supplier documentation such as certificates of conformance, material/special process certifications, and inspection/test reports
    Work with supplier/internal quality assurance team for issues related to suppliers found on the shopfloor
    Initiate nonconforming material reports
    Ensure the proper use and storage of area tools and measurement equipment
    Monitor and report on quality Inspection performance
    Promote awareness of quality requirements, goals, objectives, and best practices
    Conduct work in a manner that enhances own/other employees health and safety, product safety and promotes risk reduction; participates openly in safety related event investigations and immediately report hazards and make suggestions for control of such

    What you can contribute:
    High School Diploma or associate degree required
    A minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation manufacturing, or quality assurance.
    Comprehension of AS9100 or ISO 9001 standard.
    ASQ certification preferred.

    Experience with programming and operation of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), inspection of machine components, and performance of gauge R&R studies is desirable.

    Proficiency with Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables, MS Office Suite
    Familiar with calibration practices

    Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.
    The pay range for this position is:
