Description

Title: Competitive Intelligence/Market Analyst

Location: Miami, FL ( Hybrid)

Duration: 2.5 years

Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on market/consumer trends and competitive activities, to inform strategic decisions across the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with a good understanding of the wireless industry, who can synthesize complex information into actionable insights.

Qualifications

3-5 years of professional experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or a strategic analysis role, preferably within the wireless or telecommunications industry. Responsibilities
in-depth analysis of the competitive and market landscape, identifying trends, threats, and opportunities in the wireless industry.
and update various deliverables (PPT, XLS) on competitors products, pricing, promotions, distribution channels, strategies, and performance as well as overall market insights on the economy, retailers, OEMs, and consumers.
industry news, events, and regulatory changes that could impact the competitive environment.
analytics tools and methodologies to improve the accuracy and efficiency of competitive analysis.
existing syndicated sources and synthesize data into strategic insights.
strategic planning processes with data-driven insights on market dynamics and competitive positioning.

Must Have Skills

analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends, and translate them into strategic insights.
to manage and quickly turn-around multiple projects simultaneously and with a strong attention to detail and deadlines.
communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and persuasive manner.
track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
patterns, trends, and learnings within and across disparate data sets.
secondary research skills with broad knowledge of publicly available resources.
strength working with syndicated data sources (e.g. syndicated industry reports, analyst reports, company filings).
with primary research (qualitative and quantitative)
proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (i.e. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, multi-tab workbooks)
in data presentation in Microsoft PPT/Google Slides
understanding of the wireless industry.
and able to pivot based on immediate needs and able to learn new things quickly.
