Service Call Technician - Houston, United States - Service Andy Commercial and Home Pros

Description

We are seeking a service-call tradesman with construction and maintenance skills who has a history of delivering outstanding customer service to business and homeowner.

Must be proficient in interior finishing, carpentry, flooring (carpet, tile, planks), hanging ceilings, doors and locks, glass repair, flood remediation, and basic electrical, HVAC and plumbing.

• Drive to customer location to conduct estimates. Must know how to estime time requirement for entire job and material requirements.
• Assess material requirements for job assignments and submit material order to central office.
• Pickup material from sourced locations.
• Present to assigned jobs ontime and communicate departure to and arrival to location with customer and home station.
• Perform repairs, maintenance, addition, etc. within estimated timeframe.
• Utilize Housecall Pro to log time at job and complete estimates.
• Provide excellent customer service.

• High level knowledge of construction/maintenance that allows employee to diagnose and repair issues with zero defects and within estimated time.
• Must have standard tools to complete most jobs and reliable transportation to go to any location in Houston and surrounding areas.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to fabricate parts when necessary
• Familiarity with using technology to keep time records
• Must have reliabke means to communicate with home office throughout the day.
• Proficient in English for effective communication within the team
