Job Summary:
We seek a reliable, joyful, and motivated individual to join our team as a daycare Opener.

As the daycare Opener, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daycare as you welcome our parents and the children in the morning.

This position requires basic experience in preparing food for children in the daycare.


Duties:

• Assist in the opening of the daycare early in the morning and preparation area
• Set up play centers for children as they enter the center
• Prepare meals according to statedefined recipes and portion sizes
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
• Assist with menu planning and recipe development
• Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the food industry or related field
• Knowledge of food service regulations and best practices
• Strong culinary skills, including knife handling and meal preparation techniques
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
